Malin Mobjörk, one of the key researchers of Mistra Geopolitics, has been appointed the Mistra Fellowship. She will be a Public Policy Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Centre in Washington DC from January to June 2018.
Malin Mobjörk, who is a senior researcher at SIPRI apart from leading Mistra Geopolics Work package 1 (link to Our Research, Work packages) looks forward to spending time at this prestigious think tank:
“When learning more about the policy development in issues related to global environmental change, security and development, this is the right place to be! The Wilson Centre is known to be a truly intellectually stimulating environment, so I see it as a fantastic opportunity.”
Johan Edman, programmes director at Mistra, explains the idea behind the fellowship.
“With this fellowship program, Mistra wants to give researchers the opportunity to visit think tanks that are many times highly influental and close to policy and decision making processes. This way we encourage exchange also with less-academic institutions.”
