You are personally invited by Mistra Geopolitics to a seminar on one of theĀ most relevant issues at the intersection of climate change and geopolitics:

Do the current high growth rates in renewables indicate that we are on the verge of a transformative greenĀ technology shift, or will the massive momentum of brown solutions keep us locked into a high emissionsĀ pathway beyond the point of no return?

Based on the OECD report Investing in climate, investing in growth, which will be presented by Anthony Cox of the OECD, the seminar will explore economic and geopolitical challenges for transformation pathways around the world that are consistent with the ambition to stay well below 2° C or 1.5°C .

The seminar is organised by the Swedish Scientific Council on SustainableĀ Development, (Vetenskapliga rĆ„det fƶr hĆ„llbar utveckling – VRHU),Ā StockholmĀ Environment Institute (SEI)Ā and theĀ Mistra Geopolitics Programme.
