An increased infrastructure in Swedish seas raises new questions about vulnerability, competition for areas, and environmental risks. Innovative marine solutions for energy and food are threatened by geopolitical conflicts.
This high-level session will explore what the maritime infrastructure of the future will look like under a changed security situation.

Sweden’s Chief of Navy Ewa Skoog Haslum, and the General Director for Sweden’s Coast Guard Lena Lindgren Schelin, will discuss the future of off-shore infrastructure and how it’s influenced by geopolitics with the panel, led by Karina Barquet, SEI Senior Research Fellow and project lead of oceans research in Mistra Geopolitics.

- Ewa Skoog Haslum, Marinchef, Försvarsmakten
- Lena Lindgren Schelin, Generaldirektör, Kustbevakningen
