As geopolitical tensions rise around the Baltic Sea, countries struggle to balance competing interests like national defence, offshore energy and nature conservation. There is an urgent need for more cross-border cooperation and for coastal states to learn from each other.

This high-level session taking place on 26 June, 15.30 – 16.15 at #Almedalen2025, will explore how regional actors can balance security, sustainability and cooperation.
