The 23rd annual Conference of the Parties to the 1992 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP23) focuses on global warming and the human activity that causes it. The Paris Agreement of 2015 was a landmark achievement to address climate change. In the following COP22 which was held in Marrakech in 2016, the Agreement came into force and an Action plan was adopted.

On Thursday, 26<sup>th</sup> October 2017, the Student Association of Foreign Affairs at Linköping University (UF Linköping) in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment and Energy; the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Sweden; the Centre for Climate Science and Policy Research (CSPR) at Linköping University and Mistra Geopolitics; organized: The Paris Climate Agreement — Marrakech Action — Bonn Next.”

The event was at Linköpings Universitet, <strong> </strong>began with an informal gathering, followed by a seminar on COP23 and climate change led by the special guests.
